I’m Olivia, a designer and developer studying Symbolic Systems and Product Design at Stanford University.
From technical computer science classes that I was once intimidated by to design workshops that have changed my career trajectory, I have grown an obsession for thoughtfully-designed products. Even more so, I love studying how we as humans interact with them.
I play in every stage of the product development process: from defining the strategy, to architecting the user experience, to tweaking the details of the interactions.
Over the past few years, I have also grown into a sustainable fashion enthusiast. I am on a mission to convince you to buy less and buy better #CircularEconomy. Some of my favorite companies in the fashion technology space right now are EON, Draup, and Archive Resale.
Shanghai and Boston are home. I haven’t been back to China since Covid started, but I am hopeful about returning soon! Until then, I will be milling about at farmers markets, binge-watching Survivor, and curating my monthly playlist on Spotify (here’s December '22).
